Static Caravans

Static caravans are also sometimes called as mobile homes. These mobile homes are manufactured in factories and then moved to the place that they will occupy. In some countries, people make use of static caravans at campsites as means of temporary accommodation. Generally these static caravans are permanently set in a location. But, they are still capable of movement as and when required.

A static caravan can accommodate up to 8 people and generally consists of 2-3 bedrooms. Static caravans are considered to be larger than the conventional caravans with respect to size. As a result, they can accommodate more number of people. And since a static caravan is larger, i.e. it has more space; a person can get a more comfortable night’s sleep. But, static caravans are more prone to get affected by frost during winter and hence require more maintenance.

Static caravans are generally seen at holiday parks near the beaches and also are the hotspots for the tourists. Static caravans are also owned by some farmers who rent their places for tourists so they can enjoy the vast farmlands and revel in its beauty. Renting a static caravan is cheaper as compared to the renting of a hotel room during holidays. Many of the static caravans come equipped with facilities like hot and cold bathing water, electricity mains and many other such luxurious comforts. And of course these luxurious facilities add more appeal to the holidays.

Before one spends his money on a static caravan for a holiday, he should keep some factors in mind. Before one places the static caravan at the particular campsite, he should scan the geographical features and tendencies of that particular place. For those who want a unique and a reasonably priced holiday, static caravans are a good option to invest in.
