Caravan Club of UK

Mr Gordon Stables is the man who has inspired thousands of people with caravans. It was started in 1885 under the name of ‘Wanderer’. 1907 was the year when Club of U.K. started. Their main aim was to enjoy the caravans and help others enjoy it too. They help people who take an interest towards caravans with regard to relevant information and the locations according to their needs. Apart from the information, they help people get a membership after which they can be able to enjoy facilities like exploring the inaccessible areas where only the members are allowed. At first, this caravan club started with only 11 members but now it has reached almost 5,00,000 in 100 years. In 2007, the club celebrated its centenary year of its formation. Every year a meeting is hosted for the members and each meeting mirrors a successful year of the club. There are many sub-executive groups which help in providing aid to the club.

These clubs mainly concentrate on caravan tours and its improvement. Besides their touring activities, they are also concerned about the environment of the places or locations that fall under their tours. They take care of nature’s elements of the places they visit and thus lend a helping hand to the environmentalist projects. The project of the club was called C.B.A.P. This is a policy of the club of U.K. Their aim was to promote tours in areas with natural beauty which were hard to reach. The club of U.K. has made it possible. Every member enjoys the rights of freedom and can share opinions which are respected and usually approved by the other members. The people or the members who manage the club are at its executive level. Today they continue their activities in other parts of U.K. like Ireland.
